After
some days off, you are driving on this road retro seventies pop music ... In reality between pop and rock, depending on the sound that we are. Today continue with this series of LPs called CAPISSIMO, which initially were freebies, but later became an important commodity in the national music stores. It seems that the promotional gift receipt had an unexpected hit to the point that the leaders of the RCA decided to put together a story more seriously, and projection. Then throw CAPISSIMO volume 1, 2, 3 and so on. Also with these early records are already beginning to incorporate the sounds that later became key in the TV Free Music ...
One thing apart ... Our historic Free Music program was not a project as original as you might think, because really corresponded to a Creole version of a similar program, beyond the Andes, called "Music in Freedom ".... It's that simple. In any case, it remains part of the heritage of our children telesonoro - Youth ...
CapĂssimo I keep with the era. The delivery that today I turn to those who want to know, is the first volume of this series of LPs. CAPISSIMO is appointed as simply, as the first edition of promotion. Contains a total of 12 subjects between Anglos and Castilian, and, most interesting at the time, reflects the beginning of the "invasion" trasandina, with exponents as Quique Villanueva and "Dime Linda kids", Katunga, Nono and Storm ... Storm ... All an icon of those years ... I remember some past video on television, of course black and white, showing the pint of this singer, hippie, with long dark hair, clothing type Janis Joplin and the beauty of his few years old .. Storm continues to this day this song, and the times he has been invited to a television program (last year) you do not need to sing "Like a girl and a boy" or "Adios kid in my neighborhood "... Still fantastic as always ...
This album was released in 1971 and I was lucky, 1987, precisely in the month of January, when he was a student about to take your exam grade to meet a priest of the diocesan clergy who had a rather interesting item on vinyl records. Well, among them was this, almost flawless. Despite my insistence to buy (or that would serve as a gift) was only possible to transfer it to a cassette recording. It has been more than 20 years since the sound was steeped in the ferrite particles on the tape (SMAT C - 90), along with other things and still sounds perfect. Apparently the tapes were of better quality in those years, or are made to last ... quite an achievement.
The list of songs from the LP is as follows:
01_Middle of the Road - Solely Solely
02_Juan and John - A hot day
03_The Nite Liters - K Jee
04_Enrico Chiari - 05_Katunga
die for love - I see I see, what you see
06_The Searchers - Desdemona
07_Cyan - Misaluba
08_Quique Villanueva - cute little girl Tell me
09_James Darren - Mammy Blue
10_Los Angra - Water with love
11_Nono - Sympathetic
12_Tormenta - Like a girl and a boy
sincerely hope that this musical delivery they please, as I am aware of which we have many who have spent the 40 and we still creates certain feelings to hear these sounds fairly simple, but capable of transporting us to a beautiful time of the country.
This time I say goodbye, until next week, where the saga Capissimo still present. I also hope her comments, the idea is to meet others who share a taste for the sound and fondly remember the dances and songs Free music program in our country.
