Lauren London Hair 2010

formula for success, Sacco and Vanzetti, Joan Baez and other details ...

The Dictionary of the English Royal Academy defines the term "absence" as "action and effect from leaving or being absent. " It also extends the meaning to "time when someone is absent," "not be present at the place where one might expect," or "condition of the person whose whereabouts are unknown" ...

That's "absence" and clearly define the time when I was not in this space, the period of disappearance that may have led to think more someone, in the end of this project ... But no, not, not dead, and walked out on the town ... It was just a middle of September into the spring (uulalá, national holidays ...), gozoza spring included, and why not admit it, sedentary leisure trend ...

This time I want to share the contents of a LP that was released in 1972, our named several times RCA Victor: "Formula of Success, Volume 2" ... This album, like previous ones, corresponds to a collection of various pop songs of that era, a mixture between English and Anglo. Its content starts with the song "Mama, Pope, of the group Cyan (I understand as much Dutch origin groups of the time), continues with Mr. Ruben Mattos and rhythmic "Salta small Lobster" (who do not ever danced trying rabbit hopping rate ...? ) and then moves the other 12 tracks, especially Argentine artists.

Among the mosaic of issues is Joan Baez with "Your Health" or "Here's to you", theme song of the soundtrack of the film from Italian Giuliano Montaldo, composed by Ennio Morricone. This film is about a true story happened in the town of Charlestown, United States which was the execution of Italian anarchists Nicola Sacco and Bartolomeo Vanzetti, 1927. They were two immigrants who came to this country in early 1900, seeking a better quality of life as many other people. However, they were accused in 1920 of killing a teller and a guard and stealing a large sum of money from a shoe factory in Massachusetts, which is why, after a trial at all controversial, were sentenced to death. This decision caused, according to history, mass protests in the United States because it appeared that his condition had prevailed immigrants and anarchists in the decision of the judges, but despite protests and more than any appeal filed on his behalf, were executed in August 1927. The interesting thing about this is that 50 years later, in August 1977, the Massachusetts government recognized the innocence of both men ...

Joan Baez, the great American singer of the hippie era, he rescues his beautiful voice with a sense of this tragic story (like many that have happened in the U.S.), and turns, along with the music of Morricone on an issue which has resulted is a classic pop rock of the seventies ... This song, besides being part of the LP presented on this occasion, also published formats single, containing in its side B is another topic of the movie, "The Ballad of Sacco and Vanzetti."

Another striking themes of this collection is the one who gives the duo Katty and Gulliver, "How Do You Do", or "How are you" ... I have to admit that every time I hear it I tend to imagine the figure and sweet face Aracely, that lola Free Music playback was doing this song in the Chilean television program ... To all this, what will become of her?, Will you be in Chile?, Is popular remember what it was for us, goats, kids and brats back then ...?

Thus, after this walk through some interesting references, step by pointing out the songs on this LP ... Ah, yes clarify the origin of this jewel is in a cassette, recorded a bunch of years ago by your humble servant, and whose peculiarities and noted in the occurrence of May 15.
