Paraguay: Support for bilingual education by radio

The project will allow young people and adults vulnerable areas of the country access to basic education, with prospects for improvements in their employment.
Finance Minister, Dionisio Borda, stressed that this program will provide technical support to Faith and Joy in an administration that will directly benefit 1,000 youth and adults from the departments of Itapúa, Presidente Hayes, Cordillera, Central and Missions.
The IDB representative, Hugo Flores Timor, said the satisfaction of the entity to support a program to improve the quality of education, innovation to reach underserved populations and difficult access. For its part, the director of Fe y Alegria, P. Caballero Carlos Carrera, said the program, even when directly benefit a 1,000, the multiplier effect will reach 5,000 people. Be held in two years and $ 337,000 total funding (part from the Government of Japan).
