Minsk, 25 mar (PL) Cuba participated in one of the first issues of programming in English of the international radio station "Belarus" which has just expanded its language services, diplomatic sources said.
Belarus Radio Public Radio this central European nation that broadcasts to overseas and its present structure dates from May 11, 1962. Its programs are broadcast in six languages.
The station maintains several global signals and in 1998 launched its website. It is estimated that emissions reach an audience of approximately 50 million people.
The English special program attended by the Cuban Ambassador Alfredo Nieves, who answered questions about the reality of the island and the current state of relations between both countries.
Similarly, the diplomat referred to the collaborative project of Belarusian radio station with his Cuban counterpart, Radio Habana Cuba.
